Question:

Maytag dishwasher has all the lights blinking on the control panel. How do I reset it?

It was stopped mid cycle.  Several hours later I went to restart it and everything is blinking and the door won't stay shut.  Nothing I try resets it.

    depress the off button and hold it in for several seconds.  this worked for me after trying everything and even getting a service technician to take apart my machine and put it back together (he couldn't find anything wrong!)
    when i pressed the off button and held it down, it somehow reset the control panel and now we're good as new.
