Computers - Which one of the two languages are more secure when it comes to security of a web site.? what do you suggest which one of them should be used for developing a site?

    both are secure. it depends on your application. Many secure applications have been written by using php and asp.net.

    i've seen people preferring php . why is that so?

    I guess because its free, open source and cheaper to deploy. plus large community support is present. but still in the end it depends on application to be developed and personal choice.
