The Maxtor hard drive came with a CD disk Max-Blast PlusII Version 1.30 and a floppy Max-Blast PlusII Version 1.30. I am using Windows XP with SP2 update. I would like to make the Maxtor hard drive my Master drive since it has a larger capacity. Unfortunately, the CD disk furnished has been damaged and I will need a replacement. Can you furnish me with a replacement that will perform the job as stated above. I have the instruction manual and it states that both the CD and floppy must be inserted to perform the desired functions.
Please advise via return e-mail: brubner@access4less.net
Thank you.

Have you tried the Maxtor website? They should have the drivers you need for installation.
Another option, if it were me I would try installing it without the cd & floppy, just to see what happens. Sometimes the drivers sent on cd or floppy are not needed.
It is a big strange that it came with a floppy though. Floppies are pretty much obsolete.
    Good luck!
