Webcam shuts down my computer randomly

whenever i start using my webcam, whether its on MSN or from normal use, after about 10 mins, the whole computer shuts down and reboots. The only thing i can see that could cause this problem, is i have not insalled the VP-eye program tat i got with the webcam. Just if it helps, im using a Cyber Snipa Scout webcam? Any help would be appreciated.

    Maybe your computer is overheating.  Try opening up and cleaning it out.
