I am a citizen of the United States of America. I wish to enter in Singapore for a tourist visa to spend holidays along with my family into the country. I am working as an analyst in a reputable American company here in America and I love to discuss visa matters of different countries, especially about Singapore with my pals quite frequently, which has increased my fascination for Singapore this summer. Last day, when I was talking to one of my friends regarding Singapore visa requirements for the American nationals, he literally confused me with the provision of bulk of information about tourist visa to Singapore, I was wondering if anybody could please tell me about the basic requirements of the Singapore visa for American nationals, as I want to visit Singapore with my family this summer during holidays? I’ll appreciate if you could please provide me with authentic information. Thanks!

Well, as far as the citizens of the United States of America are concerned, there are no requirements for them to get visa to Singapore for tourist or enterprise travel for almost 90 days of their stay into Singapore, but they are requested to produce a U.S. Passport legitimate not less than six months after the stay. Apart from all this, any of the American civilian who desires to journey to Singapore for any other reason other than that of the tourism or enterprise discussions (that is for education, work, immigration, adoption or residence longer than predetermined time in the application requirements) would need to communicate exactly the embassy or closest consulate to get prior permissions.
