What is the difference between LCD and led

I think there is no difference in LED and LCD! What are your thoughts?

      LCD television have a flat-panel  which utilizes a Liquid Crystal Display technology. It is composed of  two layers of glass which are polarized and attached together. However, LCD television has a  high image quality. They are usually  made very thin, which makes them look less space-consuming, therefore they can be hung  anywhere. This makes them a hot entity among  buyers.
