   Express Seats for american airlines are only available at the airport Self-Service Check-In machines when traveling within all of the United States, including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Express Seats will be available for purchase on the seat map when you indicate you would like to change your seat during the check-in process. Customers who check in on AA.com can still purchase Express Seats on the airport Self-Service Check-In machines and reprint their boarding pass.
