   Black Friday increase the in store sales of many top brands but the sales rush also tickles down to all kinds of stores.  Normally most of the hype is for deals but usually Adults don’t change their buying habits too much. According to Consumer Report “Adults  are as likely to shop in stores on Black Friday as they are the weekend after; 28% plan to shop Black Friday, 29% on the Saturday or Sunday”
   
   Every year Black Friday kicks off the holiday spending season and every year the hype for it is bigger than the year before. Historically the black Friday sales were geared more towards buying gifts for others but in the last few years, over 60% of the people are actually doing black Friday shopping for themselves.  Due to recession and people looking to watch how they spend their money, this year buying for yourself number is around 67%.    
   
   Black Friday falls right after Thanksgiving and some smart marketing efforts have turned it into a cult culture among young people ages 14 – 21 but its not limited just to young people.  Adults spending start on black Friday and continue into the weekend. According to consumer reports “While 28 percent of adults plan to shop in-stores on Black Friday, just as many (29%) say they'll be shopping on Saturday or Sunday afterwards. Overall half (53%) of adults expect the deals to be just as good in-stores as online this year”.

   electronics (70%),
   video games and accessories (46%)
   56% of all shopping is for toys; fueled by parents who use Black Friday sales to save money yet still buy that little something special for their little masters.
   
   In High Demand for this year Black Friday will be Gizmos and Gadgets followed closely by Flat-Panel TV Purchases. More and more people are buying large screen tv’s and retailers pay attention to all this data before putting their price tags for black Friday sales.
