   Ah...this question is an age-old one, and has been debated for a long time now.
   
   If you're a man...it is typically "safe" to go with boxer shorts. Boxers are often considered the sexiest by women as they hide the common ugly spots of men; fat thighs, big waist. Boxers are loose in these areas and generally hide the fat or ugly areas as opposed to making them tight.
   
   Boxer-briefs are second in line. If you are in good shape, boxer-briefs contour the body and provide the long, manly, s**y look of boxers with the tightness of briefs. Women much prefer these as they probably assume you have a nice body if you wear them.
   
   The dreaded tighty whities are seen as very unsexy. Although their are views on each side. American society treats men who wear tighty whities as "childish, nerdy, and unattractive". However, this is not always the case. Colored briefs are much more preferred by women then the plain white color. These are the most risky underwear to use as most women prefer a man in boxers.
