   Hi there,
   Here in the States, there are a lot of community theater groups.  They put on productions with all local talent including acting, stage construction, lighting, makeup, and all of the other pieces and parts of producing a play or a musical.  
   
   These are excellent areas to learn more about acting and to get experience.  Look in the phone book for community arts associations.  They may even have a local theatre group listed there.  Pay attention to the newspapers.  They often have announcement about upcoming plays and auditions.  If you know other people who are acting in your area, pick their brains about how to get involved.  
   
   I feel pretty certain there are plenty of opportunities for you.  You just have to dig a little bit.  Often these small theater groups have limited budgets so they can't spend a huge sum on advertising their audtion opportunities.  Even this process of searching should prove valuable to you.   Even the professionals have to learn how to find out about upcoming auditions.
