   plug in the cable properly it will be fixed if it is not than kindly change the switch.

   Try removing the small circuit board/connector on the end of the picture tube. Examine the pins on the tube for a blue coating. If it is present you will find that it is non-conductive and it should be removed from all pins by scraping carefully with a sharp tool. This coating was probably applied by the tube manufacturer to prevent oxidation of the pins during shipment and should have been removed by the TV set manufacturer prior to assembly. When the small board/connector was initially pushed onto the tube pins during manufacture, the connector probably scraped enough coating off of each pin to allow the tv to function properly at that time. But, due to the extremely small contact area at each pin and years of use, this coating may be the cause of contact failure during warm up, resulting in the self turn off problem.
