    Cruet is a of flask which is used to hold liquids. It has been used in two forms, first in describing the a ritual flask used in religious ceremonies and the other as a small container of liquids such as oil, perfumes and vinegar.
   
   A cruet has a stopper or lid and is normally made up from glass, ceramic, or stainless steel. Some cruets are unusual, and can either be intended to be ornamental or functional.
