I am not an American but I live here in US and I have celebrate it with my friends. I was wondering to know the purpose of thanksgiving day.

    Thanksgiving is a day celebrated in America and Canada to remember the hardships of the early settelers in both these countries. Who came to new world helpless and endured hardships and harvested their first crop, by giving thanks to God for all His blessings.
