Question:

why doesn't my cd rom drive work

i have removed and added, the cd rom drive.  I have installed the original drivers.  I tried using a lacie dvd/rw drive nothing works when it comes to my optical drives why not?

    HI,
    Faulty cd drive replace.
    also i would recomend cleaning all system fans.
    check system cables for corrcet fit.
    most of my corrections would be best performed by a local repair
    shop.
    Sony's are at best problematic.
