   No, there is no need to register your site for Alexa to report traffic statistics for it. Alexa reports on all sites for which it has data. Alexa gets data from its own sources, primarily from Alexa Toolbar users. Based on that, they create a comprehensive big-picture view of the web as a whole. If Alexa has data on your site, it we will report it. If not, it will display a notation of "No data," which means that in the last three months, none of Alexa toolbar users visited your site.
