Facebook 7000 comments rule. Did you know that with lots of facebook policies it use the 7000 comments rule to decide on what to do.  If there are over 7000 comments, the company would have put the policy up to a vote by the entire Facebook user base and if the comments on any policy are less than 7k, facebook decides themselves.

    Hi,
Rules for 3rd party application developers

9.2 When users add your application or connect it to their Facebook account, they give permission for you to receive certain data relating to them. Your access to and use of that data will be limited as follows:

9.2.2 You will make it clear to users what user data you are going to use and how you will use, display, or share that data.

As it stands at the moment, 3rd party applications can take whatever they like from your Facebook account and don't have to tell you. Perhaps if they are now obliged to describe what data they are taking and what they are doing with it, they will be more selective over what data they actally take from us
