Whether within your own company or in another you wish to work with, convincing an employer to create a new job position requires a well thought-out job proposal. While this position might benefit you, you must convince the employer that the position will benefit the company and serves a need or solves a problem that a manager may not be aware exists. When creating a job proposal, the key is organization and a persuasive writing style.

Following instructions has to be followed for writing a Job proposal:

1: Write an introduction with a brief overview of the company and a more in-depth description of the department in which you want to propose a new job position. Explain the role of the department in the company and what type of products or services they provide.

2: Create a statement that points out a problem or issue within the department. This may be an area in which sales or output could be higher, or a demand from clients that the department is not meeting.

3: Explain that your proposal is the solution to the stated problem or issue. Divide the proposal into categories that explain how the plan works, what materials will be needed, what qualifications the employee awarded the position will need to possess, what the salary will be, and how the addition of this job will solve the problem and benefit the company.

4: Summarize your proposal in an overview that is three or fewer pages placed at the beginning of the proposal before the introduction. This overview should include an introductory paragraph summing up the issue facing the organization, a body that sums up your plan to solve the issue, and a conclusion paragraph that directs the reader's attention to how the company stands to benefit from adding this job. Encourage the manager reading the proposal to create the position.

5: Create the appendix, including any documents, letters and illustrations that you used to back up your claims in the proposal.
