Yes, it may be baby eczema. You don’t need to worry, however and check out the tips below to help your baby with baby eczema:

You’ll need following things for the treatment:

    • • Aquaphor or Vasalene

    •
    • • TGEL

    •
    • • Dove Unscented soap

    •
    • • Hydrocortizone Cream

    •
    • • Prescription ointment(if prescribed by doctor)

    •
    • • Children's Benadryl(Do consult a pediatrician to know how much to give your baby)

Give your baby a bath using Dove soap on body and TGEL shampoo on head. Be sure that neither the soap, nor the shampoo goes into the eyes because they are not specifically designed for children.

Now apply a prescription or hydrocortisone cream to trouble spots. Use the prescription ointment as directed. Use hydrocortisone 3-4 times a day.

Then apply Aquaphor lotion to entire body. It is a white tub with a blue lid.

If it’s bedtime, give your child benadryl as needed. If your child wiggles and finds things to scratch his body on, he probably needs this to sleep without itching the whole night.

Don't be alarmed if this rash oozes. It does that sometimes, just apply creams/ointments and call doctor if necessary.

Call your Pediatrician if this gets worse without getting better first. You may need a dermatologist
