How to protect your family from Cholera spread? This question is posted for a doctor. can you please provide some feedback on how a person can be protected from Cholera spread and what are the ways the risk can be minimize? In Haiti its killing people.

    Cholera causes a very bad diarrhoea and vomiting which takes away liquid from your body causing severe dehydration, and can kill within 24 hours if left untreated. It is easily treated through rehydration and antibiotics, so if you think you have it, drink lots and lots of clean water and see a doctor asap.  It is not to be taken lightly and keep away from others as much as possible to minimize the spread within your family.
