    Hi there!

You know, if your hair is naturally curly, I really dont think you need a perm. Infact, all you may need is a little maintance, on your natural curly hair. It wouldnt take much!

Your hair, has a natural curl, that is frizzy when it dries. This is the natural texture of your hair, and a perm certainly will not correct the texture. Infact, the perm will dry it a little more, and you will still have the frizz issue, unless you use product to control it. So at this point, I really think a perm would be more of a headache to you.

Maintenance would be so simple, considering you basically want a wash and wear look.

All you would have to do, is after washing your hair, put in some spray in conditioner. There are over the counter spray ins, that work well. Spraying this in all over your hair, will change the texture to a smoother silky feel. It also conditions your hair while its in. You will notice a more perment silky result, after a couple of weeks. Once you have sprayed in the conditioner, put in a light gel, or mousse. The gel, you would apply in your hand about the size of a silver dollar. Rub it all through your hands, then apply it all over your hair. Starting on the ends, and working your way to the root. If you decide to use a mousse, apply about the size of an orange in your hand, and then do the same technique as I mentioned with the gel.

Just allow your hair to dry naturally. Periodically Scrunching your hair as it dries. Scrunching, is simply just grabbing a handful of your ends, and just gently squeezing it in your hands. Do this all over, once or twice as your hair dries.

The whole process takes literally 5 minutes, once your hair is washed.

Your end result, will be nice defined curls, no frizz, and your hair will dry ..Looking wet ..However it will look controlled.

Now, if you dont wash your hair everyday, the days in between all you would have to do, is lightly mist your hair with water, and scrunch again. It will bounce right back to a nice, defined, controlled curl.

Even with a perm, You would have to maintain it, or else you will have the same frizz issue, but it will be worse.
