Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco known as Charice, is considered as the best young Filipino artist and actress. She has gained worldwide popularity because of her singing acting and singing talent. Ellen DeGeneres invited to Pempengco as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show after watching her performance on YouTube. She went to the United States on the invitation and performed two songs on the December 19, 2007. She sang the songs "I Will Always Love You" and "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" in the episode of the show. Oprah Winfrey praised her as the most talented and outstanding girl in the field music .She is the only Asian singer ever who got the place in Top 10 of the Billboard 200 album chart. Television is another medium where she showed her performance and got appreciation from many well known actors and actresses. She has performed in the famous TV series Glee season 2 as Sunshine Corazon. Melodious singer and performer Charice yet again signed for another episode of "Glee," She said after performing the song “By Myself,' I was really pleased because I have been singing this song forever”. In the episode of "Glee," it is expected that she will repeat her role of exchange student Sunshine Corazon. She also has made her debut on the international concert stage in Foster's May 23 tribute concert in 2008.
