Why did my Blogger Analytics account stop collecting data?

I setup analytics for my clients website but My client says that Analytics has been unoperational for an entire week. I need to fix this ASAP.  Do you have any suggestions?

    If you use Blogger but are no longer receiving data in your Google Analytics account for your Blogspot domain, please look at your blog's source code and see if you can find the tracking code. Each time you change to a different template, all customizations, including your Analytics tracking code, are removed from the template.
