I am a small hobby breeder of Chihuahuas.  I have approx. 8 adult dogs that live together freely in my home and are very well cared for.  A few of them are rescues.  One of my females regularly started attacks on some of the weaker dogs and most of the others would join in to the frenzy.  I was always able to stop it.  A week ago, I was gone from home for 1 1/2 hrs when one of my chis was killed by the others.  I knew who had started the attack and found blood on the ones that participated.  I immediately placed the Alpha female and felt that all would be fine.  Today I was gone for 1 hour and her sister was killed by the other dogs.  There are 3 that I believe are responsible.  I have never heard of this happening???  I am truly heartbroken and at a loss.  Can you help?

I have 4 dogs very well take care, different breeds from the Human society, they do get along, never had a fight. The other day the person who cleans my back yard was at the back with them when I heard some yelling and the dogs, I came out I did separate the dogs but 3 of them was attacking one and when I took the one that was hurt, started to attack a second one, 3 attack one and after the 2 attack one. I was very frustrated the the other dogs, I could not believe it. I take care of them way better, love attention, excellent food. I believe I had show them that I am a good pack leader, I read and have books to learn more about it; but it did not happen when when they are with me. I was reading some more and they do have enough excersice. I am thinking to take them out more; but if someone know why? and what should I do, I dont want to find out one day that they did kill eachother if I go out. I love my dogs and I dont want anything happen to them.
