   Its not hard and more people in the world have dark hair than otherwise, this is how I did it: I have fairly dark brown hair naturally. I got some help from my mom because I was too broke to go to my hair stylist. So we went  and bought some bleach. It took 2 applications of bleach to turn my hair into a yellowish color. After using a toner  and washing it with purple shampoo, it is almost to the shade i want it. One more application of bleach and my head will be as white as paper! it was load of fun; i look great but spending quality time with my mother was well worth it also. She is actually really cool.  
   
   Here are some things i would watch out for: Make sure you have healthy hair.
   Use a GOOD conditioner daily after you have your desired color, don't use two in one.  Use protein and moisture treatment that you can use daily or just once. Don't wash your hair every day.
