   It all depends upon the relation of employee with the Boss if the relation is good then Boss can certainly give an off day any time. Here there could be another reason that if there isn't any sort of work burden then there won't be any hesitation upon Boss to allow day off but if the burden of work will be more then the normal then Boss might not give an off day. And at the end it also depends on the performance of the employee.
