   Surely，HDR-CX350 record avchd files,,,,,,in fact,,my husband just use the one,,,i know about it,,,,now we use windows live movie maker on windows 7 , can work,,,,,,,but windows movie maker can not import avchd files, it is just like wmv or avi,,,,,,we had ever got a great video converter,,,it is iorgsoft avchd to WMM converter,,,,,,,,,,great work,,,,,i google it just now,,,,,,it upgrade,,,,,more function, easy to use,,,,,and...ok,,,,,give you the direct link:

   yes, Windows Movie Maker does not support for AVCHD video improting and editing.<br />
   But now the WLMM in Windows 7 is compatible with AVCHD video from camcorder.

   
   

   As for your question,  from my experience, you have to convert AVCHD from you camcorder to WMM editable video formats, like WMV or AVI. Aunsoft MTS Converter is the right tool which helps you to decode AVCHD to AVI or WMV for easily importing and editing in WMM.
