   Hi,
   Lip piercings are NOTORIOUS for swelling. I worked in a tattoo parlor, and we always got lots of calls from kids we pierced, asking if their lips were supposed to be so huge. Yep, it's totally normal.
   
   The swollen part is no fun, but you can reduce the swelling by sucking on ice cubes, taking an anti-inflammatory like aspirin, and sleeping with your head elevated above the rest of your body.
   And, of course, the less you touch the piercing, the better.
   
   I would actually advise not cleaning it TOO often with Bactine, cause the more it gets moved around, the more irritated, red, and swollen it's gonna be.
   You should also be using an alcohol-free mouth wash to clean the inside of your mouth after every time you eat, and also right before you go to bed.
   
   And the yellow pus is totally normal. It's just like other piercings, and is merely the dead white blood cells that were working on healing your lip up.
   It'll go away eventually, probably within the next two weeks or so.
   
   If you ever have any real concerns, though, you should not hesitate to call the place where you got it pierced, cause they would rather have you call and ask for help than suffer an infection. :)
