    Growth rate is never same. So I personally do not think there is a specific age for any girl our bodies all mature or blossom at a different rate. A good guideline to go by is when you begin to notice that your daughter's chest no longer looks like a little boy's chest it is time to buy her a bra. She may not need to wear it under sweatshirts, but thinner blouses, or blouses that are more form-fitting may need something more than a camisole. To put it bluntly, we began to notice a distinction at the nipple area under most of her tops. For modesty's sake, we bought her first bra.
