what is the most important part of a relationship? The absence of s*x in a relationship can be symptoms of a deeper problem. We are all guilty at some point of not paying attention to each other. Work, children, and family responsibilities can exhaust us. Intimacy and connection get lost in the 1001 'things to do' and s*x becomes a quick burger we grab on our way to somewhere else. We have less and less time to discover each other's magic. Needs begin to clash: aggression and repression begin to tango.

For me s*x is an important part of a relationship and 1 do have to remind myself not to take this gift for granted. I love the eastern take on sexuality (think Tantra, Karma Sutra). s*x is part of the subtle and deep art of sensuality that includes music, poetry, and dance, everything that stimulates our senses. How ama/ing that the pure animal in us is a doorway to some of the highest human skills: listening with the body, responding with the soul. sharing oneself, and being absolutely present. I want to be present in my life, in my body, in my relationship. For me s*x is a wonderful way to practice this
