   Hi,
   The first thing you can check is to see if there is anything obstructing the clutch pedal from going all the way down, like floor mats etc.,
   There is a clutch safety switch that won't let the engine start until it is engaged, if there is no problem with the carpets, replace the clutch switch, it's located under the dash on a bracket and makes contact with the clutch pedal lever.
