I need help with organizing a benefit Antique Car, Truck & Bike show to benefit a local charity. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Do you have any experience in this? Hey there, I have been organizing car shows for many years and I will tell you to do some basic things first. If you are looking for a charity show then must look to get a sponsor, arrange meetings with the owners of cars. Make a good proposal for the sponsor. The venue is the most important thing in this kind of event. Try to get a covered locality that can be easy to manage in prospective of security. Put a team of people on the marketing task and most importantly arrange some students which would do the marketing in their Universities and colleges and also sell the tickets through these students. Students can be the best source to market these events. Try to grab some media personality or any high profile personality from government as a chief guest. You will have the media coverage without sending any money on it. Try to create the hype of event through the local cable operators and place desks in universities and colleges for ticket selling and marketing stuff.
