I am currently a junior in High School, but I love history and want to get an insight into what a career in museum managing may be like. I think the best way to do this would be to volunteer at a local museum, but how should I contact them or find out about opportunities?

The Patagonia museum is a natural history museum, It is also a cultural anthropology museum located in the Civic Center of Bariloche, Argentina. The museum was inaugurated on March 17, 1940. It was later commissioned by the natural government as part of and effort that is required to promote Rio Negro Province ski resort. It was also a part of the civic center. It was built from polished green tyff, cypress and fitzroya with slate roofing. This building is covered by a plaza. The majority of its collection were requisitioned from the National Parks Adeministration by the museums first director Enrique Artayeta. It was named in the honor of Argentiene surveyor and academic Francisco Moreno. It was the institution that was organized in the tradition of the La Plata Museum, whose 1888 establishment was owed in large measure to the renowned explorer. There are many areas of the museum which are left to be seen such as Natural Sciences, Prehistory, Aboriginal History, Regional History. In the department of Natural Sciences there is a collection of fossils and geological findings.
