     India is one of the beautiful country  in South Asia region Which is ranked as the seventh-largest country by geographical area and the second-most populous country with the 1.2 billion population. Few historical facts about India are given below:
   
   • In its long history of approximately 10000 years India never invaded any other country.
   
   • India first invented the Number System and the Zero was first used by Aryabhatta.
   
   • The World's first university was constructed in Takshila in 700BC. More than 10,500 students from all over the globe studied more than 60 subjects. The University of Nalanda established in the 4th century BC was one of the greatest achievements of old India in the field of education. Sanskrit is considered as the mother of all other European languages. Sanskrit is the most perfect language for computer software, and it was the language of Indian people in ancient times.
   
   • The modern images of India usually represent poverty and lack of development, but India was the richest country on earth until the time of British invasion came here in the early 17th Century.
   
   • The art of Navigation was first utilized in the river Sindh 6000 years ago. The very word Navigation is taken from the Sanskrit word NAVGATIH. The word navy is also come from Sanskrit 'Nou'.
   
   • Bhaskaracharya measured the time taken by the earth to orbit the sun hundreds of years before the astronomer Smart proved.
   
   • The value of pi was first measured by Budhayana, and he explained the idea of what is called as the Pythagorean Theorem. He founded this in the 6th century long before the European mathematicians.
