How can I pay back overpayments to the UK government?

I am a British citizen and I am in doubt of received overpayments by the government. Need to know the procedure for pay back

    If you are no longer in receipt of the benefit that was overpaid, you will usually receive a bill to cover the overpayments. but if you are still in receipt of benefit, a certain amount will be taken off your benefit until you have paid back all the overpayment.
