How has the Australian bond market weakened?

   As the Australian bond market opened marginally weaker on Tuesday, there is an increased optimism about the Japanese earthquake disasters. The June three-year bond futures contract was trading at 94.960 (5.040 per cent), down slightly from the previous close of 94.980 (5.020 per cent).
   The market will continue to follow developments in the Middle East, and there have been concerns by many, in the country, over possible disruptions to oil supplies which seemed to be dissipating.  It was expected that the local bond market to trade lower for the rest of the domestic session.
