   Toyota Echo is a slightly cartoonish and a little oddly popular economy car, it debuted in the beginning of new millennium . It is a successor to the Tercel and precursor to the Scion brand, the Echo was meant to bring the U.S. buyers into the Toyota family with its low price and Toyota heritage.
   
   This was one of the Toyota that failed to garner much success. Although the Toyota Echo offered a quite impressive roomy cabin due to its narrow thanks to its narrow and tall greenhouse and its economical 1.5-liter four-cylinder propelled it with decent acceleration. An unusual centralized gauge cluster was a result of poor design , the Echo's small tires and  the upright stance contributed to a "tippy" feel at highway speeds and there is excessive body roll when navigating tight corners.
   
   Although the Echo, being a Toyota, enjoys a reputation for much higher than average reliability. And we complained of poor value for the dollar -- mostly it is due to the Echo's low price which is resulting from Toyota charging extra for common conveniences. Basically Toyota Echo is a car for people who are looking for a used economy car that offers best choices and also greater performance and value.
