   Hi,
   the birds nesting is underneath the fabric, double check the top threading to ensure it is ok.
   Also might try a different bobbin.  Touch & Sew Bobbins are known to seperate in the middle after they have aged.  The little plastic threads that s***w the to halfs together wear, and the bobbin may not be totally intact.  The little center where they s***w together will extend further than it suppose to, and cause bird nesting in the bobbin area.
