I don't mean the stories that got the most coverage but the ones that actually were best news stories that touched you some where deep in your heart. A news story that made a difference.

many would argue it would be the obama election. to have the first non-white(fully, he is half) male become president is a big step. in my opinion i dont think he will accomplish all he or the press say he will, but i hope he does.

personally i think it should be the finacial market meltdown. it will have far reaching ramifications that will only get worse in the coming years. and will have a more profound impact on the country in the coming years than the obama administration.
