conditions for telling jokes in islam

telling jokes is allowed in islam but there are certain conditions for it

First of all they should be all true

they should not be excessive

the amount  of jokes should be like the amount of salt in one's food

it should no involve backbiting

ppl add  more if you know some

    yes it waste times.
    especially adult jokes are nonsense
    Actually they teach lie to community and
    waste special time in trivia things.

    light entertainment  is ok but it should be decent and true
