The Sri Lankan spin wizard Muralidharan has always proved to be a threat for all the teams eversince he has emerged in the cricketing books. Even the best batsmen around have been found struggling facing Murali. Apart from all the pressure of the quarter final, the biggest test that the English batsman would go through is playing Muralidharan. Having captain Andrew Straus in good form, the English batsman should be able to handle Murali confidently if not dominantly.
