Senior Vice Chairman of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) Muhammad Anis Khawaja has said that present regime's ill-conceived and ill-planned policies and wrong priorities had pushed the textile sector towards catastrophic crisis.

He said that 30 out of total 50 textile mills of Southern Punjab had so far been shut down rendering one lakh workers jobless. Talking to this correspondent on Tuesday Anis Khawaja said that remaining textile mills would be closed shortly.

Pakistani politicians have a worldwide reputation for being thieves and congenital liars.  They spend all their time fighting each other and stealing.  All through 2009, they have promised that load shedding will end by December 31; that 2,500 Megawatts of power will be added to the system in December and 2,600 Megawatts added in April, ending load shedding forever.

They lie through their teeth, they know they're doing it, and they couldn't care less, as long as they can keep stealing.
