    To hook up an external hard drive to Xbox 360 you need these tools:

    Harddrive

    External USB 2.0 Case

    Xbox 360

    Partitioning Software like Partition Magic

    After collecting all the needed things you will have to Put the harddrive in the USB 2.0 case, hook it up to your computer.

    Now you will have to use the partitioning software to partition the drive using FAT32.
