What are the risks involved in the Menopause, how it effects the life of a women, one of my friend is having the same sort of problem, can you tell me what are the preventions of this disease?

    Menopause means permanent cessation of the primary functions of the human ovaries, it includes the ripening and also the release of ova and also causes the release of hormones that cause and create the uterine lining and also the shedding of uterine lining. Menopause usually occurs in women in their midlife, it normally occurs in late 40’s and 50’s , and the signals that are at the end of fertility phase of life of a women. The date of menopause in the females is defined as the last time of menstrual period. The adult women who have ovaries removed go immediately into the surgical menopause, no matter how young they look. In some cases the Postmenopausal bleeding might occur. One should worry about this type of bleeding. But it is advisable that your health care provider should always check the postmenopausal bleeding, as It might be the sign of other problems such as cancer.

    The Menopause is a natural and expected part of woman’s development that does not need to be prevented. However, there are some ways to reduce or eliminate some of the symptoms of the menopause.

    You can reduce the risk of long-term problems like osteoporosis and heart disease by taking some of the following steps:

    Control your blood pressure

    Avoid smoking

    Eat low fat diet

    Get regular exercise

    Take calcium and Vitamin D.
